Herculaneum
From Epicurus Wiki
Herculaneum, on the Bay of Naples, was an ancient Roman city that was destroyed, along with Pompeii, in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius beginning on August 24, 79 CE. The city was buried in superheated pyroclastic material that has solidified into volcanic tuff. It is the site of the Villa of the Papyri, where the Herculaneum Papyri, a cache of mostly Epicurean scrolls, were discovered.
