Metrodorus son of Stratoniceus
From Epicurus Wiki
Metrodorus, son of Stratoniceus, not to be confused with Metrodorus of Lampsacus was a former Epicurean described by Diogenes Laertius as the only one of Epicurus' students to abandon him. Diogenes states further that he "went over to Carneades, probably because he could not stand Epicurus' unapproachable excellence," which is a confusing anachronism, considering that Carneades flourished several decades after Epicurus' death.
