Socrates
From Epicurus Wiki
Socrates [Σωκράτης] (~470 - 399 BCE) was a Greek Philosopher who is widely credited for laying important foundations for Western philosophy. The most recognized (but by no means trustworty) source of information concerning Socrates is Plato.
Socrates' teacher was Archelaus, whom Epicurus admired, according to Diocles (Laertius X.12).
